Oren, our Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant on Shacklewell Lane, is entering an exciting new chapter under new management. We are a cosy, fun, energetic & relaxed neighbourhood restaurant serving Middle Eastern–inspired food, with a strong focus on seasonal cooking, great wines, and regular wine and food events.

As we rebuild and strengthen our team, we are looking for an Assistant Manager who is passionate about hospitality and excited to help shape the next stage of the restaurant.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading from the floor while also supporting the operational and administrative side of the business.

• Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering great guest experiences
• Wine knowledge and confidence discussing wines with guests
• Passion for floor leadership and team support during service
• Awareness of back-office operations and day-to-day restaurant management
• Enthusiasm for cocktails and drinks
• Establish a great rapport with the local community and regulars
• Willingness to assist with administrative tasks related to the daily running of the restaurant

The role

You’ll work closely with management to support both service and operations. The position combines floor presence, team leadership, and organisational support, helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly day to day.

• £40,000 – £45,000 per year including Tronc (DOE)
