About the role:
As a Junior Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Head and Sous Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen. You will be required to run each section in the kitchen including both prep and service and be able to train junior chefs when required while maintaining our high standards of both food quality and food hygiene.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the kitchen
- Preparation and service of each kitchen section
- Management of the kitchen team when required
- Run the kitchen is the absence of the Head and Sous Chef including placing orders
- Adhere to and maintain our standards of excellence
What you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in similar standard of commercial kitchens
- At least 1 year of pasta experience
- Meat butchery and fish filleting skills/preparation
- At least level 2 certificate in food hygiene
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player
45hrs pw (7 x shifts with 2 days off)
