Content Assistant, Knife & Fork Media
KEY INFORMATION
Contract: Temporary freelance role, ideally available full-time (9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday).
Location: Office based (Soho, London) with option to work from home up to two days per week
Salary: London living wage, to be invoiced on a monthly basis

We’re looking for a detail-oriented content assistant to join us on a temporary freelance basis to support the day-to-day running of The Good Food Guide’s editorial, website and newsletter output. This role is delivery-focused and works closely with editors and the wider team, including marketing, events and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage content production and editorial calendar
- Upload and format articles, new openings and updates on the website
- Support the production and sending of newsletters, including template builds, image editing and inserting sponsored content
- Assist with the management of content databases, including new openings, news bites and inspector updates
- Manage shared editorial inboxes and route queries appropriately
- Source and prepare images for newsletters, social and web use
- Assist with basic listicle building and press release uploads
- Process invoices and carry out admin tasks
- Provide general team cover during holidays or periods of absence

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with CMS, email platforms and image editing tools
- Confident following processes and working to deadlines
- Clear communicator who works well within a team
- A genuine passion for hospitality and the people behind it
