We are currently seeking a new Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant and create incredible customer experiences at Barge East. You need to possess strong leadership and management skills and be an enthusiastic, people focussed person who is aligned with the values and ethos of Barge East.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day to day operations for the Restaurant including rotas, stock management, cost control and drinks menu development
Work with the General Manager to develop and implement growth strategies
Recruit, onboard and train managers supervisors and FOH staff
Evaluate performance and productivity and PnL mgmt.
Regular sales analysis to identify trends.
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
Implement, monitor, adhere to, and enforce compliance in line with company standards and policies.
We open Thurs-Sun over summer and 7 days per week over winter.
Qualification / Experience
2 Year (Minimum) at managing a high quality restaurant
2 Years demonstrable management experience
Strong alcohol knowledge (wine & cocktails)
Strong business knowledge with HR, Marketing, Budgeting and Finance experience
Stock ordering/control experience
Experience with POS and booking systems
