Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, inventive and adaptable Head Chef to head up an exciting young plant focused (vegan/vegetarian) restaurant in Nine Elms, London.

We offer creative freedom, source high quality organic produce and always innovate!

You will be able to constantly evolve, a seasonal menu that reflects the vision of the business to be innovative and inclusive with its largely plant-based, health conscious food offering.

Ours is a growing restaurant with breakfast, lunch offering, with plans to start dinner nights, so experience with high volume is essential as we expect to open for all day dining, 6 days a week, expected to open 7 days a week in the future.

The Ideal Candidate:

Applicants for this role will have a strong background, with a track record of working with fresh ingredients preparing cuisine from scratch. You will be very organised, financially aware, and have the desire to work closely with the founder and management.

As Head Chef you will have responsibility for all areas of the kitchen. A good head for finances and stock control is necessary and you will enjoy making sure that efficient procedures are in place and followed. Responsibilities also include food hygiene, Health &Safety, HACCP, Managing suppliers, Ordering, Training Chefs, costings and staff rota management.
