New opening team – Front of House, Forza Wine Soho
We can’t quite believe it, it seems like a week ago we were just having a laugh in a warehouse in Peckham. Now we’re about to have 3 beaut locations, a team full of incredible people who just keep getting better. Soho opens late February and we can’t quite contain our excitement.
100 cover dining room, 50 cover terrace with a brand spanking new fit out. That the builders have completed on time?! A great management team that all come from existing sites (with a handful of faithfuls who couldn’t resist returning to the Forza fam). We’ll be serving food and drink with the same ethos we always have, seasonal, unpretentious and unanimously delicious.
Attitude and culture fit come first and foremost. It’s all well and good being able to carry three plates and rattle off niche grape varieties, but if you’re not inherently a joy to be around and don’t like getting stuck in then we’re not the place for you. We don’t work insane hours, we don’t spend all day everyday in the shit but we do work hard and give it our all when we’re here.
Our ‘way’ is very much about not taking yourself too seriously, remembering that ultimately we are cooking and serving people their tea, but in the best possible way. Simply, treat people to the dinner you would like to be treated to, talk to people the way that you would like to be spoken to, it’s our house and the customer is coming to it to have a great time – let’s give them that.
The style of service is friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We want you to show your personality, and your passion, to our guests while also maintaining high standards. Treat everyone with kindness and tolerance, and remember that respect goes both ways.
