Social Media and Content Manager, Kricket
We are on the lookout for a Social Media and Content Manager to join our growing group!
You will join a dynamic, fun and entrepreneurial team in a key role to manage and develop our social media strategy. The role will form an integral part of our Team where you will work closely with the Marketing department and Co-Founders at the Kricket HQ in Soho, London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising the standard of social media across the group – through high-quality content creation, and trend-focused material with exceptional storytelling which ultimately generates new and repeat business. We are looking for someone who fits our Kricket ethos – they are warm, dynamic and love to make our guests – new and returning – happy.
You will…
• Be responsible for the overall content planning and creation for all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Youtube, Pinterest and LinkedIn)
• Lead and execute a social strategy designed to grow brand awareness, engagement and customer interactions
• Proactively manage the day-to-day of all social media channels
• Analyse competitor activity and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to ensure the business remains innovative and current
• Ensure all social media imagery, videos, descriptions and copy are in keeping with brand identity and tone
• Regularly attend Kricket locations to capture live content, particularly around events, menu changes and new openings
• Manage and coordinate shoots with external photographers and videographers
• Work with our external PR teams to understand local initiatives that can be amplified through social media
Essential skills and requirements
• Must be experienced in photo and video editing, using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe CS, Premier Pro and Lightroom
• Fluency in English for copywriting which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content
• Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for food and restaurants is a must
