About Emile Wines

Emile Wines is a London-based, female-founded wine importer and retailer, offering authentic, terroir-driven wines from Burgundy and California’s elite, whilst also championing wines off the beaten track from across the classic regions of France, with a portfolio featuring producers including Vincent Dauvissat, Oliver Lamy, Antoine Jobard, Julien Guillot and Claire Naudin. Much of the portfolio comprises organic and biodynamic wines and all of our growers work towards the philosophy of sustainability, often with a low-intervention approach.

Reporting to the Director and Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will possess an established network within the industry, have experience selling to the on-trade and independent off-trade, and be enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Emile Wines

Responsibilities

Prospecting, opening, and maintaining accounts within London and the rest of the UK
Analysing market trends and identifying opportunities
Creating an annual sales plan
Helping develop marketing strategies
Conducting wine sales analysis
Coordinating with the rest of the team to ensure an adequate supply of wine
Helping organise winemaker events/ tastings
Organising e-commerce wine events
Proofing and updating the Trade Lists and other materials
Keeping the CRM and mailing lists up to date

Requirements

2 years working in wine sales
Clean driving license
Understanding of French winemaking and terms.
A solid understanding of the hospitality industry and a well-established professional network
The ability to work effectively on their own
