Welcome to Mriya Neo Bistro, a Ukrainian Culinary Oasis in Chelsea!

We are seeking a skilled, seasoned Chef de partie to join our culinary team in crafting impeccable dishes for our esteemed guests and championing Ukraine’s vibrant culinary heritage. As the custodian of our cold station, you will prepare top-tier cuisine under the guidance of our head chef.

We expect you to share a “can do” approach and can cope with pressure and tight timing. The successful candidate should be an excellent team player willing to make extra effort to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description:

Controlling your section, preparing the dishes during the day and cooking during service times
Carrying out the vision of the head chef and improving your methods based on feedback
Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure high-quality food and service
Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and clean
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required

Person specification:

• Minimum two years of relevant work experience, preferably working in a similar role
• Food Safety Certificate level 2 minimum
• Sound knowledge of the standards of different cooking techniques and best practices for food safety
• Ability to quickly learn new recipes and new cooking procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• Creativity, initiative and proactivity
• Passion for hospitality
• Interest in Ukrainian culture and aspiration to learn more about it will be a big bonus

Financial rewards:

• 48 hours per week
• Hourly rate is £15
• 28 days paid holidays
