As part of the expansion of Hucknall Pubs, we are looking for a new General Manager to lead the team at The Jolly Gardeners. Hucknall Pubs is a South London independent pub company with 2 customer focused, community pubs. The Jolly Gardeners, our first and flagship venue has recently featured in the Evening Standard’s top 50 pubs so this is something we are looking to build on. Our GM’s work closely with the 3 operational directors to deliver a premium yet friendly pub atmosphere, great food and a unique drinks list.
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the business from cellar management to P&L meetings with the accounts team to staff recruitment and retention. As an all encompassing manager who has experience in events, bar, floor, financial reporting and human resources you will be looking to expand on all these skills with a view to a future operations role.
