BAO launches Dine in Cinema

The BAO team shows no signs of slowing down, pandemic or no pandemic. Cafe BAO is set to open in late November and the team launched takeaway service Call Suzy during lockdown. And there’s more… We like the sound of BAO’s latest venture, as it’s teaming up with steaming service MUBI to launch Dine in Cinema, a new private dining and film experience at its Borough restaurant.

Kicking off this weekend with a horror film season (it is Halloween after all), groups of between 4-6 can choose from a selection of six films to watch alongside a specially created set menu. Priced at £20 a ticket, the set menu features cinema classics with a twist. Think a curry hot dog BAO, Taiwanese fried chicken popcorn, sweet potato fried chips and a Horlicks ice cream tub – a nod to its popular fried Horlicks BAO.

Dine in Cinema is only running until the end of the year, so be sure to book your spot via the website here. Better still, admission will also get you free access to MUBI for the following 30 days so you can binge-watch films from the comfort of your home.
