As if there isn’t enough choices already, now The Ned are welcoming a new electric bar & diner from the team behind Soho House & Co’s Electric Diner Portobello. Located on the ground floor near the hotel’s reception, the new venture launches today (9 October).
Expect a menu with a mixture of diner and deli favourites, from burgers and bagels to salads and cheesecake – and of course shakes and cocktails. We like the sound of the classics, including a lobster roll with spicy mayo and a turkey club with maple bacon. Desserts include an Oreo cheesecake with mint choc chip ice cream, vanilla waffles and triple chocolate fudge cake. I felt full just writing that…
The bar offers a range of American cocktails, including craft and draught beers. From looking at the pictures, the interiors are reminiscent of a VERY high-end diner, and we like it. It’s an all day venue, so you can choose to eat-in at the counter or booth or take away from the dessert counter.
