It turns out that Corner Shop 180, the chic retail concept Nick Jones launched in June, was just a taste of what’s to come. The hospitality visionary is set to open the 90-room St Clements Hotel above the bakery, deli, and wine bar at 180 Thames in London in 2026. Marking Jones’s first independent hotel since stepping down as CEO of Soho House Group in 2022, St Clements will feature a rooftop restaurant, gym, and 15 long-stay apartments, all operated under his new company, Jones & Co (Hotels, Restaurants and Residences). While details remain under wraps, bath products by English perfumer Lyn Harris hint at a focus on refined British luxury. The hotel forms part of the wider 180 Quarter development, which also includes 180 Strand, home to Ikoyi and Toklas.

Ivan Orkin (AKA @ramenjunkie) as seen on Netflix’s Chef’s Table is opening a restaurant in Farringdon on 19 November. He’ll serve his tonkotsu, spicy miso, and chicken paitan ramen and a new creation especially for London: a salt beef bao.
