It was hard to miss the buzz and hype around Kitty Fisher’s when it opened in Mayfair’s Shepherd Market at the end of 2014. It was also incredibly hard to get a table too. Fast forward a few years and the owners moved across the West End to open their second hit, Cora Pearl in Covent Garden. Perhaps a little less naughty than its bigger sister, the Henrietta Street restaurant is a cosy spot for a pre- or post-theatre bite to eat, a date spot or like us, a long Sunday lunch over a bottle or two of red wine.

Where to sit?

Downstairs at night if you want somewhere a little more private. The banquette seating overlooks the pass and is withinarm’s reach of the bar.
