    Chef de Partie (Part-Time – 32 hours/week)

Step into the heart of Soho and join 10 Greek Street, an award-winning neighbourhood restaurant that played a defining role in shaping the area’s modern dining scene during the Soho gastronomic boom of the 2010s. Built on a philosophy of simplicity, seasonality, and integrity, the restaurant is known for its daily changing, produce-led menu and stripped-back approach to modern European cooking.

We’re looking for a Chef de Partie (part-time, 30 hours per week) to become part of a small, close-knit and deeply passionate kitchen team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a kitchen where quality matters more than complexity, where ideas are valued, and where every service is shaped by what’s fresh and available that day.

Perfect for someone seeking a better work/life balance, or balancing commitments such as family life, study, or another role. This position offers the chance to stay immersed in a high-level, creative kitchen without the intensity of full-time hours.

    Why this role is special
A Soho original: 10 Greek Street was one of the pioneers of Soho’s modern restaurant wave, championing a daily changing, seasonally led menu long before it became industry standard.
Part of a small, passionate team: You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with chefs who genuinely care about food, service, and collaboration.
Seasonal, ingredient-led cooking: Menus change daily depending on the best produce available—no repetition, no routine.
Balanced working pattern: A structured 32-hour week designed to support flexibility and wellbeing, while still offering full immersion in a professional kitchen.
Real creative exposure: Learn how menus are built, evolved, and executed in a fast-moving, ideas-driven environment.

    What you’ll do
Run your section confidently during service within your scheduled shifts.
Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes aligned with a daily changing menu.
Work closely with the senior team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Support prep, stock rotation, ordering awareness, and waste reduction.
Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, organisation, and food safety.
Contribute positively to a supportive, focused kitchen culture.

    We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience as a Commis or Chef de Partie in a fresh, quality-led kitchen.
Enjoys working with seasonal ingredients and evolving menus.
Is calm, organised, and reliable under pressure.
Values being part of a small team where everyone contributes.
Is looking for a role that balances professional cooking with personal time.
Wants to develop further within a respected, award-winning kitchen.

    Perks & benefits
    Competitive salary
    Tronc/tips scheme
    Staff meals provided daily
    Flexible holiday allowance
    Central Soho location
Genuine progression opportunities within a highly regarded kitchen
Job Type: Part-time (32 hours per week)
    Work Location: In person
