Pastry Chef, 75 at Liberty
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join the team full time at Seventy Five at Liberty, an exciting restaurant set within one of London’s most iconic department stores. Combining modern British cuisine with a commitment to sustainability and local suppliers, our venue offers a lively and stylish setting for guests to enjoy exceptional food and drink.
This is a full time position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and leading the pastry offering within a fast paced and creative kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the pastry section, overseeing preparation, production and service of all pastry, desserts and baked goods
Take ownership of pastry development, driving creativity and innovation across seasonal menus, specials and bespoke dishes
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to develop and refine the overall food offering
Maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation and consistency across all pastry outputs
Ensure all food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures are followed at all times
Manage stock control within the pastry section including ordering, rotation and wastage management
Support, train and develop junior team members, fostering a positive and high performing kitchen culture
Ensure all pastry equipment is maintained, clean and operating effectively
About You:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef within a high quality restaurant environment
Experience within Michelin or rosette level kitchens is essential
A genuine passion for desserts, patisserie and modern British cuisine
Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and allergen procedures
A proactive and collaborative approach to team development and kitchen culture
