Delivery platform Dishpatch teams up to launch feasting menus

Published 10 August 2020

Successful lockdown-created delivery platform Dishpatch has now announced it is joining forces with some strong hospitality names to launch a range of bespoke feasting menus.

Duo Pete Butler and James Terry founded Dispatch in March to enable restaurant suppliers affected by Covid-19 to sell their produce to the public. Now, it is supporting restaurants as they reopen by working with them to create and deliver complete menus, fully prepared and ready for finishing at home.

Available for nationwide delivery, the participating chefs and restaurants will change every month. The August launch line-up includes Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, a restaurant on a mission to change the narrative around ‘African food’. Andrew Edmund and head chef at St John Bread & Wine Farokh Talati. Borough Market taquiera Tacos Padre and Bongbong’s Manila Kanteen are also involved.

The menus range from £40 to £59 per two people, and can be scaled up for groups of four, six or eight. Orders can be placed until 5pm on Wednesday for delivery on Friday of that week.

“Our mission has always been to help people experience the joy of great food, in the comfort of their home” say founders Butler and Terry. “What started as a directory and became a marketplace has now evolved into a way for some really great independent chefs and restaurants to hugely expand their reach, and for customers who can’t get to those restaurants to experience them. We’re bringing the UK’s best restaurants home!”
