SOUS CHEF, OREN
• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and lead services in their absence
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes with consistency, care and attention to detail
• Work closely with a small kitchen team in a collaborative and supportive environment
• Assist with ordering, stock control, food safety and maintaining kitchen organisation
• Help develop seasonal dishes inspired by Middle Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean cooking
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, prep and service throughout each shift
• Contribute positively to team culture and help train junior chefs where needed
• Join an independent Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focused on quality produce, hospitality and sustainable working culture
Job Requirements
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality-led restaurant
• Passion for seasonal ingredients, bold flavours and thoughtful cooking
• Calm and organised under pressure with strong service leadership skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team
• Good understanding of food safety, kitchen organisation and stock management
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, professional and motivated to grow within an independent restaurant environment
• Interest in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean or live-fire cooking is a bonus
