    Levan is an independent neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar in Peckham, inspired by the bistros of Paris and wider Europe. We cook seasonal, produce-led food designed to sit alongside a thoughtful low-intervention wine list, with music and hospitality playing just as important a role in the experience as the food itself.

    We’re a small and close-knit team, so attitude, care and consistency matter as much as technical ability. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in their section, and wants to develop within an ambitious independent restaurant.

    CHEF DE PARTIE

    We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Levan in Peckham.

    This role would suit someone with solid service experience who is confident running a section and enjoys cooking seasonal, ingredient-led food to a consistently high standard in a busy open kitchen environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Run a section efficiently, calmly and cleanly during prep and service
    • Prepare and deliver dishes to a high and consistent standard
    • Work closely with the senior kitchen team on mise en place, prep and service organisation
    • Assist with stock control, ordering and stock rotation
    • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
    • Minimise waste and support good kitchen organisation and systems
    • Support and encourage junior chefs within the team
    • Attend food, service and operational meetings where required
    • Report maintenance issues or hazards to the Head Chef or General Manager
    • Take an active interest in developing your skills and knowledge
